Hello Tomorrow

This is probably the last post from Czech Republic. I am moving to Dubai on Friday so I just wanna say goodbye and thank you all who has been with me for the last 9 difficult months! ... Wish me luck!!! :-) I´m gonna miss you all :-) And I am SO nervous right now!!!!! 

Accommodation & Leaving party

I just got my accommodation details and it couldn´t be better!! I will be living in Millennium Tower, a few minutes from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world!!! Such a great location! I got really lucky! :-) There is also a gym and the swimming pool, pizzeria, manicure and minimarket right in this building. I´m really excited who will be my flatmates! 5 days left!!!

On Friday I had my leaving party with my friends. I´m gonna miss them so much, they are the best friends I´ve ever had! The night was so much fun and it was great to have everyone in one place :-) Here are some photos:

10 days left!

I just recieved my e-ticket and e-visa but I´m still waiting for accommodation details. I´m worried about living in the middle of desert - Sarab. It´s so far from the city! :-( Let´s wait and see... Fingers crossed for living downtown!!!

I also started with packing and yes, it´s very difficult!!! I have 2 pieces of luggage, the first one (with food, cosmetics and toiletries) weigh almost 30 kg, so the second one (with shoes, handbags and clothes) can weigh only 20 kg! I am sure I will have overweight, at least 5 kg and I will pay a lot :-/

In the last few days I met some of my friends to say goodbye, we met for a coffee, lunch or a glass of wine. This Friday will be my last Friday at home, so I´m going to have my goodbye party with my best friends. I hate saying goodbye and hope it´s gonna be fun, no tears! :-)

I also hope the flight won´t be delayed or even cancelled due to crap weather! I hate winter and cold weather so I can´t wait to be in Dubai :-) Next week!!!!!!

Time passes so fast...

Today I got my Emirates passport size photos. We are required to have 8 smiley photos 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm passport size, coloured, with pure white background in business attire, facing forward and hair back. I also found my passport photos from 2008, so you can check how I changed myself in almost 5 years :-)

20 days left!

Last 3 weeks at home. How can I stop being so nervous? But on the other hand I cant wait to be there... far far away from SOME people... I have some personal problems and being so far away will the best solution for me now, although it hurts so much... I think Dubai is my last chance to move on. Nowadays, I have bad days full of tears, I am crying almost every day and I know that in Dubai there will be no time for this :-)

And this is not permanent :-) I can terminate my contract at any time. It is like going on a big holiday and this company is going to pay me to go on it :-) Everything is organised and prepaired for us, we just have to learn some things and then we will be flying all over the world, I cant wait!! And if I don´t like it, after or during the first 6 months (probation) I can give them 7 days notice and then I can back home as if nothing ever happened :-)

I´m gonna miss my friends so so much :-( I hope they will come and visit me in Dubai soon!!! I am trying enjoy every day with them and on Friday 25 there will be my goodbye party!

Time goes by so fast! I spent amazing New Year´s Eve with my best friends in Prague and I´m gonna miss them so much... People go in and out of our lives and we must never miss the opportunity to tell them how much they mean to us... Happy New Year to everyone! I hope 2013 will be better than 2012 :-)

I´m getting my yellow fever shot tomorrow. Finally, it is the LAST one!
