5 more days & almost 2 months in Dubai

5 days of training left... I can´t believe that next week our training will be over and I live in Dubai almost 2 months! These two months were the fastest two months in my life :-))) I miss my family and friends, but I am so happy to be here!! :-))

Yesterday I got 100% from our first service exam (very easy)! Today we have simulated flight to London, it means 4hours of practical assesment :-// I am worried about it, I don´t like practical assesments at all, I am always nervous and I am doing stupid mistakes.. But our trainers are the best in the world and I´m gonna miss them so much, as well as my batchmates.. we are really like a new big family after we spent these two months together every single day... :-))

On Sunday I will find out my April roster, so let´s wait and see which destinations are waiting for me :-)) I would like to visit Paris, London, Birmingham and Barcelona (because my very very good friends live there), and Prague of course!! Hope there will be at least one nice layover destination :-))

Security & Service

I successfully finished Security training - 100% from written exam. Yesterday was our first day of service training. 9 days left and my 1st flight is coming!! But before that I have to pass some written exams and practical assesments as well... fingers crossed! It won´t be easy at all.. They already sent one girl from another batch back home because she didn´t pass exams..

Back to security training. It was very useful and interesting training - hijacking, weapon recognition, bomb threat, how to deal with angry or drunk passengers, how to restrain agressive passenger, how to deal with hijackers... and also some practical exercises in gym (in our uniforms - not comfortable at all!). But it was very relaxing week - we all deserved it.

Bye bye GMT

We just finished our GMT (group medical training) yesterday and I got 91,2% from final exam. Sometimes it was difficult not to fall asleep when listening to our trainers - 8 hours every day is not so easy.

Doing the mock up situations we had to deal with passengers having different kinds of illnesses - heart attack, anaphylactic reaction, diabetes, open/closed fractures, angina, stroke, dislocation, burns... I can also deliver a baby now, as we were thought what to do in case of birth on board. We also have learnt what to do with a dead body...

But it´s all good now. Next week we´re starting with 2 days of security training and service training on Thursday. Wish me luck!!

Uniforms & 1st flight

Yesterday I got my uniform - 2 jackets, 5 blouses, 4 skirts, 1 belt, 3 waist coats, 1 hat and 2 veils, 1 handbag, high heels, flat shoes, 2 "sexy" crew pyjamas for long flights, 1 cardigan, gloves and baggage for layovers.

My first B777 supy flight (supernumerary - just observing) will be at the end of March - night turnaround to Islamabad, Pakistan. I hope the 2nd one, on A380, will be better! :-)))

One month in Dubai

Hey everyone,

I can finally say I´m done with SEP, I passed all exams and practical assesments as well. I got 100% from first one, 99.5% from second one and 92% from the last one. Now I can operate both - the A380 and B777 :-))

Our trainers were so nice and I miss them so much! They surprised us with dinner together on the last day of SEP training, they ordered pizza, chickens, fries,... our little party :-))

We also did ditching - emergency landing on water. The temperature was set as cold as the ocean, it was like a hell for me!!! We had to evacuate out of the A380 upper deck - down the slides, which was amazing erperience as well.

I just started with GMT (group medical training) on Sunday and I really miss SEP training and trainers so much... This is not my cup of tea... Its not easy at all!! I just passed one practical assesment (basic life support - CPR) but 3 more assesments and 1 written exam are coming. I prefer SEP over GMT any day!!

GMT is all about first aid/response. We are doing a lot of role play and it is difficult because most of the medical conditions have more or less the same signs and symptoms...

We will also recieve our Uniforms this Thursday!!!! :-))
